It’s April 1999. Napster and MySpace will be released this year, SpongeBob SquarePants makes its cable TV debut, “The Matrix” hits theater box offices, Britney Spears tops the Billboard 100, and a new technology called Bluetooth will be introduced to the world.
That same year, on April 9, a small consulting firm called Evantage is formed with the vision of bridging strategy, technology, and the customer experience to help businesses create deep connections with their customers and improve product development and delivery.
Today, April 2024, the small consulting firm with a big vision is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Our name has changed from Evantage to Fathom, our tagline and brand have evolved, and our team has grown exponentially. But at the core, we are still the team that empowers organizations with research and user perspectives to make the best decisions for their products and services.
Since its founding in 1999, Fathom has spent the past 25 years connecting with clients and partners to prioritize human-centered decision making. Our theme for this milestone celebration is "Connections," highlighting the profound and lasting ties we share with our colleagues, clients, and the community.
To all these groups, thank you for your trust and partnership, and thank you for believing in the value of putting people at the center of decisions!
In addition to all the connections we are celebrating from the past 25 years, we are incredibly excited to continue building new connections in the years ahead.
