Fathom Consulting is a Minneapolis, Minn.-based firm providing consulting services to clients. This policy sets forth the privacy principles we follow and governs the interactions between Fathom Consulting (“Company”, “we”, “us” and/or “our”) and individuals (“respondents”, “you”, “yours”) who engage with our consultants, online surveys we deploy, or our web site (“Network”), and between Fathom Consulting and our clients (“Clients”) who contract with us for specific work. It also sets forth our policy with respect to information collected from respondents across our Network.

Information We Collect

  • From our clients, as part of a customer or contact list, through a sales representative, or through third-party companies that work with our clients.
  • From third-party research firms who purchase samples based on our recruiting criteria

We use the information we collect to support our clients in:

  • Administering a research study or survey
  • Helping our clients understand how their customers are using their products, services, websites, applications, or other systems
  • Fulfilling a gratuity

We also use the information we collect to support our Company in:

  • Administering a survey, fulfilling a gratuity, or managing a feature of our website

Protection of Your Personal Data

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal data.

  • We remove all personally identifiable information from our research reports that we don’t need to complete the work as contracted by our client.
  • We store research notes and files on a secure server.
  • We encrypt personally identifiable information when transferring it.
  • We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties for their promotional purposes. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing our clients, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our website policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property, or safety.

If you provide data in any of these ways, you acknowledge and agree that such data may be transferred from your current location to our offices and servers and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.
